MBA501 Dynamic Strategy and Disruptive Innovation This subject provides students with the contemporary knowledge and skills to formulate, implement and evaluate business strategies. Topics include understanding an organisation’s operational environment; sustaining a competitive advantage via the generation of value and differentiation; making strategic, ethical decisions; and the positioning of an organisation so that it generates superior returns. This subject will utilise case studies and discussions that enable students to apply strategic thinking to a range of firms across different industries. Students will be exposed to the latest thinking and frameworks driving dynamic strategic management. This includes business portfolios and corporate strategy development; creating value through innovation; and applying dynamic capabilities to enhance organisational effectiveness.
