MBA601 Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship This subject provides students with an understanding of the entrepreneurial start-up process. It will cover the internal and external environment for proposed business ventures, as well as the financial and operational plans deemed necessary for success. As part of this process, students will develop an appreciation of the risks and benefits of entrepreneurialism and how these can be mitigated or embraced. The concepts of intrapreneurship and social entrepreneurship will also be explored. Students will engage in the nurturing of an entrepreneurial idea and then develop an associated comprehensive business plan. Legal and ethical aspects associated with entrepreneurship will also be examined.
