ACCM4300 Financial Reporting This subject provides students with an understanding of the accounting and reporting issues that pertain to the corporate entities operating under Australian accounting standards. This includes in-depth study of the requirements for the preparation of consolidated financial statements for a group of companies operating under common control. This subject also examines the relevant regulatory framework and some of the theoretical underpinnings of accounting. Other specific accounting issues addressed relate to foreign operations, investments in associate companies and joint ventures.
