This subject conveys to students the importance of project management theory, principles and practices in the effective development and delivery of IT services, processes, and systems within organisations. Students are therefore taught how to adopt the mindset of a project manager so that stakeholder needs can be identified and evaluated, requisite resources determined, acquired, and monitored. Students will design comprehensive plans to ensure on-time and on-budget outcomes that exceed stakeholder expectations. This learning is crystallised via a case study from the Australian business community.
