Q: What is Kaplink and what can I do with it?
A: Kaplink is our student portal that provides access to subject enrolments, payment details and lodging requests. You can also use Kaplink to:
- Update your personal information
- Complete your subject enrolments
- Make payments and manage your financials
- Lodge enquiries and requests
- Track your progress
- Access the dynamic self-help student portal
- Easily access MyKBS and your subject and course materials
- Access your personalised timetable and calendar
- Receive calendar reminders for key dates in the trimester
Q: I want to change my personal details (phone, address, email). How can I do this in Kaplink?
A: All personal details can be updated through Kaplink. Once you login to Kaplink click on your name at the top right-hand corner and select “My profile” which will take you to all your personal details.
Q: I need help navigating Kaplink. Where can I get help?
A: Training modules on how to use Kaplink can be found below, or alternatively please contact the Student Experience Team to help you with navigating through Kaplink.

Q: What is MyKBS?
A: MyKBS is our learning management student portal that provides access to all study materials.
Q: What can you find on MyKBS?
A: You will have access to MyKBS after you enroll in your subjects. You can use MyKBS to:
- Find class materials and workshop slides
- Find information on your assessments
- Download learning resources
- Book a session with Careers Central
- Check Weekly Events and Webinars
- See campus activities
Q: How do I access my student portals?
A:You will need to sign in using your student email (studentnumber@kaplanstudent.edu.au e.g. 1234567@kaplanstudent.edu.au).
Your student ID can be found on the Confirmation of Enrolment. Your password will allow you to login to both student portals.
Q: Can I get access to Microsoft Office using my Kaplink ID?
A: Yes, all KBS students have access to Microsoft Office 365 for Education including Outlook, Excel, Word and more. You can also download the various Microsoft Office applications on your personal devices.
