Kaplan Business School a global finalist

For the third consecutive year, Kaplan Business School has been recognised as a global finalist in The PIEoneer Awards 2021, this year in the categories of Progressive Education Delivery and Student Support.

The Progressive Education Delivery Award finalist nomination is in recognition of our unique Lifetime of Learning Guarantee: a future-focused solution that acknowledges a student’s learning does not end with the completion of a qualification. It offers our alumni free and lifetime access to the live online classes of every subject of the course from which they’ve graduated as well as continued access to our Careers Central service. The outcome is an engaged alumni community that remains current and relevant not just in their next job but throughout their career, and a current student cohort that can benefit from the diverse perspectives and experiences our alumni bring to the classroom.

Student support has always been a top priority at KBS and we’re very proud to receive the Student Support Award finalist nomination for the COVID-19 Student Welfare Plan, established in acknowledgement of the negative effects on our international students caused by the pandemic. The financial and student support measures we introduced as part of this package included:

total financial support valued at over $6 million (AUD);
replacement of all prescribed textbooks with free online resources;
bonus webinar for each of the three biggest assessments in all subjects to provide greater guidance and clarity.

These nominations reinforce Kaplan Business School’s global reputation and they follow last year’s PIEoneer Awards at which Kaplan Business School was the only institution in the world to be named a “highly commended runner-up" for two categories, one being Progressive Education Delivery for our popular MBA course, and the other being Employability International Impact for our Careers Central Service. Kaplan Business School’s first finalist nomination was at the PIEoneer Awards in 2019 in the Student Support category.

The PIEoneer Awards are the only global awards platform that celebrates innovation and achievement across the whole of the international education industry. With a distinguished judging panel representing geographical and professional diversity, these awards recognise both individuals and organisations who are enhancing professional standards, evolving their engagement or redefining the international student experience.
