Chathuranga Jayasekara (CJ)  

Sri Lankan | Master of IT (specialisation in Cyber Security)  

After working in IT for many years, CJ eventually discovered his true passion in cyber security. Within the first year of studying at KBS, CJ secured a part-time role as an IT Support Officer. He started a YouTube channel and blog called CyberMED and founded a cyber security student community group.  

CJ’s career goal is to create a safe cyber world for the global online community.

Mariene Lescano

LADIA BRINCKMAN

Filipino / Master of Professional Accounting

Ladia graduated from KBS in 2019 and is now the financial controller at Future Business Technology Group (FBT Group). FBT Group has a strong industry partnership with Careers Central. Whenever there is a job vacancy, Ladia contacts Frida for candidates and has employed a ‘family’ of 5 KBS alumni to work with her.

Wakako Kiba

Japanese / Master of Business Administration (Specialisation: Health Services Management) 

Wakako believes that learning is lifelong; that every stage in life presents new opportunities to grow your knowledge and life skills. After achieving her bachelor’s degree in Dentistry at Osaka University, a PHD, nine years of clinical research and working four years as an endodontist, Wakako believes she still has more to learn.

Payal Gidwani

Panamanian / Master of Business Analytics

Payal is more afraid of having regrets than taking chances. She's navigated two successful career changes, moving from advertising to commercial cookery and working as a chef at Google, to now studying business analytics. She's excited about a future in e-commerce, and how a knowledge of analytics can give her an edge in this space.

Anja Christoffersen

Australian / MBA (Specialisations: Health Services Management and Entrepreneurship)

Anja received the QLD Young Achiever of the Year Leadership Award 2020 in recognition of her health advocacy efforts in Australia and overseas. Studying an MBA helped her start a new business, Champion Health Agency, that she hopes will create social change for millions of people around the world.
