TRANSCRIPT
Hi, my name is James Adonopoulos and I'm the Academic Dean here at Kaplan Business School. Information technology is the one sector advancing at a faster pace than absolutely any other, which means that to stay ahead, it's imperative that you acquire more than just theoretical knowledge by enrolling in a course that evolves with industry, thereby ensuring you're gaining the knowledge and skills most in demand by employees.
So welcome to the Master of Information Technology at Kaplan Business School, where we provide an unparalleled learning experience designed for real-world success.
What makes our Master of Information Technology unique? Well, our curriculum is thoroughly updated every single trimester to reflect the latest advancements in industry. This alone makes you a significantly stronger candidate in what is an increasingly competitive market for the best jobs. With content that's always relevant, you'll get to work on interesting projects in a genuinely hands-on learning environment, and you'll never have to pay for any of the software you're required to use. With four specialisations to choose from - Analytics, Web and Mobile Development, Cyber Security and Programming - there are dozens of jobs that will open up for you as soon as you complete this degree. These include Software Developer, Data Engineer, Multimedia Specialist and Security Architect.
Our students especially love that at Kaplan Business School, there are no final exams at all. That's because our preference is to instead design practical assessments that reflect the real-life activities you'll be expected to perform in your future workplace. We also don't have any formal lectures, since we understand that truly dynamic learning instead requires highly interactive workshops that not only keep you more engaged, but also enable you to practise and refine the skill sets most valued by employers.
That's why we make certain our teachers aren't just academics but are recruited directly from industry. That means every class brings insights of relevance that are current, helping you to bridge the gap between theory and practice. And by completing two MBA electives as part of this degree, you'll benefit from a genuinely holistic education since you'll be able to select innovative subjects that address themes such as Emotional Intelligence, Consumer Behaviour, Contemporary Leadership and Cultural Intelligence.
Underpinning all of this learning is our sector-leading and global award-winning student support, which includes our Learning Advisors who can help you with the study techniques essential throughout your degree. While our Career Advisors can offer you expert advice on internships, job applications, and networking strategies. And when it comes to your overall well-being, we have on- campus counsellors who can assist you as you navigate life's challenges in addition to 24/7 assistance via the Sonder app whenever you need additional support with your physical or mental wellness.
So if you're seeking an IT course that evolves with the future, choose the Master of Information Technology at Kaplan Business School; the only institute of higher education recognised by the prestigious PIEoneer Awards as the best business school in the world for international students.
