‘Women Beyond Borders’ Symposium

We are pleased to announce that Kaplan Business School’s Leadership, Governance and Professional Practice discipline will be hosting the ‘Women Beyond Borders’ Symposium. This is a free online event, taking place on 14 March 2025.

The symposium aims to celebrate achievements, recognise potential and address the challenges faced by women worldwide. It will provide a platform for critical discussions on gender equality, focusing on barriers to economic participation, women’s education and global perspectives on gender issues.

The event will highlight the following areas:

• Barriers to Equal Economic Participation for Women: looking at the gender pay gap, career progression and women in sports.
• Women’s Empowerment through Innovative Approaches: exploring how technology, artificial intelligence and teaching and mentoring practices can empower women.
• Gender Issues on a Global Scale: examining issues related to education, gender norms, and leadership.

Experts are invited to contribute original work addressing any of the three areas listed above and can refer to our submission guidelines for more details.
